On November 8, 2024, the ” Trendy New World, Limitless “(Investment Launch Conference) for Shanxi Haoyun Outlet took place at the Shenhui International Hotel in Yuncheng, marking the first public unveiling of the Yuncheng Salt Lake Vitality Valley Resort. Nearly 350 participants attended the grand event, including leaders from the Yuncheng Salt Lake District Government, Delfin Group, Yuncheng Salt Lake Happy World Theme Park, Shanxi Haoyun Outlet Commercial Management Co., Ltd., along with over a hundred brands and mainstream media, all witnessing this important moment of the outlet’s prosperous start.
As one of Yuncheng’s 2024 “1311” major engineering projects, the Yuncheng Salt Lake Vitality Valley Resort aims to integrate “Outlet + Theme Park” as its core concept. It seeks to create a new exquisite living space, a new social experience center, and a new trendy hub, perfectly catering to the desires of today’s young consumers. With this in mind, it is increasingly anticipated that the resort, set to open next year, will unlock exciting commercial surprises for Yuncheng, a cultural and tourism destination.

The Yuncheng Haoyun Outlets (Launch Conference) took place with the theme (“Trendy Beyond Limits”), creating a refreshing journey in the ancient city of Yuncheng. The event gathered elements of cultural tourism, and cutting-edge fun installations, showcasing a blend of new models in business innovation. This was not only the first appearance of Yuncheng Haoyun Outlets but also a breakthrough in commercial innovation, drawing the attention of peers and brand merchants from across northern China.
Cui Linfeng, Deputy District Mayor of Yuncheng Salt Lake District, delivered a speech on behalf of the government. He highlighted that as a model of new-era Chinese commerce, Yuncheng Haoyun Outlets has always prioritized customer experience and is committed to creating a high-end leisure and entertainment complex. The project integrates innovative cultural, commercial, and tourism operating models, combining commercial operations with urban development. It aims to build a vibrant and attractive outlet entertainment complex that will foster a complete theme tourism industry chain, boosting the city’s economy, tourism, and culture. Relevant departments will continue to provide full support for its development, offering high-quality services and ensuring a favorable investment environment.

Tian Mancang, Chairman of Delifeng Group, shared his inspiring vision for the Haoyun Outlets, driven by the dual engines of innovation and growth. Established in 1989 and headquartered in Yuncheng, Shanxi Province, Delifeng Group has experienced rapid development since its founding. It has grown into a diversified conglomerate, with ventures in residential development, commercial real estate, home furnishing plazas, chemical energy, large amusement parks, and outlets. Over the past 30 years, Delifeng Group has adhered to its core business philosophy of “focus, rigor, integrity, and efficiency,” while shouldering its social responsibilities and continuously leading the industry towards an innovative development model.
The Yuncheng Salt Lake Vitality Valley Resort will combine an outlet shopping area, a theme park, a water park, an ice and snow world, and a resort hotel to create a new-type cultural, commercial, and tourism super complex. Upon completion, the project will become the largest experiential, multi-format commercial benchmark in the Jin-Shaan-Yu Yellow River Golden Triangle region. Tian also emphasized that with the group’s strong financial backing and its deep understanding of Yuncheng’s consumer base, the project will collaborate with both new and existing partners to create a high-quality commercial benchmark project.

They spoke freely and shared their unique insights, discussing how the new era of public cultural, commercial, and tourism integration can engage the theme park, outlet, and tourism markets. The conversation guided new demands and brought forth exciting perspectives on shaping the future.

Dr. Lin, Director of the China Theme Park Research Institute, stated that in the current market environment, consumer demands may seem increasingly difficult to grasp. However, when looking at the broader commercial market, it’s clear that actively creating outdoor leisure spaces that allow people to feel relaxed has become a key focus for commercial projects. The challenge moving forward for every business professional is how to uncover deeply rooted needs and, in turn, drive diversification and integration, forming multidimensional linkages and interactions. By connecting multiple levels and entrances with active lines, the layout of Haoyun Outlet has also incorporated thoughtful design. The project makes perfect use of the terrain to create three main entrance flows, preserving the street layout of the outlet district while significantly enhancing the shopping experience during each visit.
