The Metaverse Deep-Sea Go-Kart project is a major upcoming highlight for Haichang Ocean Park. For Giant Island, which was invited to renovate the old project, it is both a challenge and an opportunity. The primary task for the Giant Island design team was to create an experience that is both thrilling and immersive within the constraints of time and space.

As soon as the renovation task was received, the Giant Island design team sprang into action. Aware of the tight timeline, they quickly convened a planning meeting to analyze and discuss the project in detail. After extensive brainstorming and creative exchange, the team decided to divide the renovation project into two major modules and employ cutting-edge MR technology (Mixed Reality, an advanced development of virtual reality technology).

Module 1 | Metaverse Go-Kart
In this module, cutting-edge MR technology is employed, blending the virtual and real worlds seamlessly. Children, along with their parents, can experience an unprecedented and magical world. This innovative approach not only enriches the interactive experience in the younger audience area but also injects new vitality into the entire project.

Module 2 | Leveraging the Oceanarium's Geographical Advantage
A mysterious underground world adventure go-kart track is created, making full use of the oceanarium’s unique geography. On top of retaining the original deep-sea exploration and ocean volcano modules, go-kart simulation elements are cleverly incorporated, adding both challenge and fun to the entire track.
This design not only preserves the original style of the space but also enhances it with the added go-kart simulation elements, offering visitors a more thrilling and realistic driving experience.

Holographic Imaging Technology
The Giant Island team introduced holographic imaging technology in the design, making the entire project visually stunning. Visitors experience a strong sense of immersion and involvement during their journey.

AI Model Boosts Efficient Project Launch
Another noteworthy innovation is the use of AI technology in the design. This groundbreaking approach not only perfectly recreates the spatial effects but also significantly enhances design efficiency and customer experience.
This decision wasn’t made lightly. After a year of model training and countless experiments, Giant Island’s advanced design team successfully transitioned AI design models from theory to practice. The direct application of this achievement can be seen in the AI-powered design of the Haichang Ocean Park Karting Project.
With the powerful capabilities of AI, the design team was able to complete the conceptual design of the project in a remarkably short time. Tasks that previously took days or even weeks to complete are now accomplished in just two days. This not only dramatically improved efficiency but also provided customers with an unprecedented level of convenience.

Giant Island CEO Mr. Chen Yingyi's Summary:
“The continuous improvement of design models, although not capable of completely replacing traditional design, can significantly assist in improving efficiency, effectively reducing project initiation and communication costs, and markedly enhancing implementation efficiency. We look forward to leveraging the design model we’ve developed to provide more clients with high-quality solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective.”
