Storyland Studios is a global company that provides experience design and strategic services. It has announced plans to create the largest sports and entertainment destination in the U.S. at the 2024 IAAPA Expo.
This development project, located in Florida and covering over 800 acres, will welcome thousands of teams and families to come together to celebrate, compete, and create unforgettable memories.
Named Trinity, the project will be designed and themed by Storyland Studios. It will establish a sustainable lifestyle community that combines a light sports and trendy sports district centered around sports, entertainment, arts, and health.
Storyland Studios envisions building indoor and outdoor sports venues, arenas, multi-purpose facilities, professional fields, and leisure spaces in a mixed-use environment. This includes hotels, shopping malls, arts and theater districts, restaurants, medical facilities, and residential development
Currently in the early development stage, Trinity will be six and a half times the size of Disney Springs in the U.S. and is set to become the largest community land development project in the country.

Storyland Studios plans to transform this land into an urban center, featuring sports and entertainment, arts and cultural activities, as well as a health-focused lifestyle community.
Storyland Studios, a renowned studio in the industry, has been involved in projects including but not limited to well-known theme parks like Universal Studios und LEGOLAND. While gathering information on Storyland Studios, the Die Rieseninsel team came across two interesting news stories, which we’d like to share as a fun conclusion.
According to foreign media reports, Ubisoft has officially announced plans to open its first family entertainment center in 2025, which will be established at its studio in the Occitanie region of France. The planned entertainment center is located about a 40-minute drive from Montpellier, France, and will feature a professional film studio, along with various entertainment projects open to players, as well as supporting retail, dining, and hotel services.
Although Ubisoft hasn’t promised players that there won’t be any bugs in their theme park, it’s expected that the design of the Ubisoft theme park will draw inspiration from other companies’ theme park layouts. For example, Nintendo’s “Super Nintendo World”, which was built last year, integrates many classic game IP scenes from Nintendo in its architectural design.
Building an Amusement Park on Mars
Design Has Already Begun

In 2023, Storyland Studios announced a collaboration with a private space company, planning to design a unique theme park on Mars. The theme park is set to open in 2030, and it will be the first of its kind in the universe, offering visitors the opportunity to explore Martian landscapes and experience thrilling rides and attractions.
The design team at Storyland Studios has already begun working on the project, drawing inspiration from Mars’ unique terrain, history, and culture to create an immersive and unforgettable experience.
Die Die Rieseninsel team believes that space tourism is still in its early stages, and large-scale construction on Mars may be premature. With a limited target customer base and uncertain return on investment, it is likely that the project may struggle to materialize. Perhaps they could first try creating a Martian-themed park on Earth as a test.
